ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- The fifth-ranked Barry Buccaneers posted a huge Sunshine State Conference road win 1-0 over the Eckerd Tritons at the Turley Soccer Complex on Wednesday night.

- 77:46 - Eckerd's Braden Bradford was sent off in the 78th minute and Triton head coach John Fletcher, who had previously been carded for dissent, followed him off after protesting the call, leaving Eckerd down a man.
- 85:02 - The advantage lasted less than eight minutes, however, as Barry's Cam McDonald was also ejected in the 86th minute.
- 86:12 - Two more Tritons earned red cards in the 87th minute as Luciano Rodriguez was sent off and Kyle Bingham left after protesting too vehemently.
NOTEWORTHY:
- The Bucs out-shot the Tritons, the leading offense in the league, 13-3, including 9-2 on goal.
- Nils Buecheler made two saves on the night for the Bucs to register his first shutout of the season.
- Eckerd's Lynden Dawson made seven saves, and was aided by his defense which swept another shot off the line.
- The win gives Barry 20 points in SSC play with just two games to play, six points ahead of second-place Lynn.
