DAVIE, Fla. -- The seventh-ranked Barry Buccaneers posted a huge Sunshine State Conference road win 3-2 over the defending tournament champs Nova Southeastern at NSU Soccer Complex on Wednesday night.

NOTEWORTHY:
- NSU out-shot the Bucs 13-9, including 6-5 on goal.
- Buecheler made four saves on the night to register his fourth win in five decisions.
- Eduardo D'Avino made just two saves and allowed three goals to take his second loss in two decisions.
- The goal for Wirth and Polanco in the 51st minute were the fifth-fastest in program history. Alen Marcina and Fitzgerlad Clarke scored 0:08 seconds apart against Florida Tech in 2001.
- The win gives Barry 17 points in SSC play with just three games to play. Five teams are currently tied for second with 10 points.
ON THE HORIZON:
The Bucs visit the Eckerd Tritons on Wednesday, Oct. 19 in their next conference game. The Bucs play an exhibition against Atlantis on Saturday in a game that will not count in the standings.
