PENSACOLA, Fla. -- The top-seeded Barry Buccaneers will face off with the fourth-seeded Saint Leo Lions in the semifinals of the 2021 NCAA Division II South Region Men's Tennis Tournament at the Skeeter Carson Tennis Center on Saturday, May 8.

Series: Barry leads 37-2 and have won he last four in a row. Barry leads 7-0 in neutral site matches.
The Bucs (8-0) drew a bye in the quarterfinals, while Saint Leo (9-2) powered through a 4-0 win over fifth seed Delta State on Friday. The match up will be the third meeting between the teams this season. Barry used a 5-2 win at home on Apr. 15 to clinch the Sunshine State Conference regular season title and a 4-1 win on Apr. 25 for the SSC Tournament title.
The Bucs are powered by a deep and talented singles lineup, led at the top by SSC Player of the Year Alessandro Giuliato at #1 singles. Hugo Cazaban was also a First-Team singles pick, while Alejandro Ortega Palacios and Ignasi Forcano both made the Second-Team and Tim Buettner was honorable mention
The Lions feature a pair of First-Team picks as well in Nicolas Bacella and Aurel Ciocanu. Alex Parker, Chris Traut and Ghali Mensour were named to the Second-Team.
