LAKELAND, Fla. -- In the last regular season game before the Sunshine State Conference Tournament begins next week, the Buccaneers came up just short to the Florida Southern Moccasins losing 67-66 at the Jenkins Field House.

SUMMARY:
- Tomas Mikyska led the way for the Buccaneers early on. Barry led by as many as nine in the first half as both teams struggled offensively shooting under 40 percent.
- The shooting woes continued for both teams in the second half, but the Bucs were able to capitalize on FSC turnovers scoring 15 points off 16 turnovers. Justinas Marcinkevicius' jumper with :22 left in the game gave Barry the lead 66-64, but on the following FSC possession T.J. Smith fouled the Mocs' shooter, awarding him three attempts at the free throw line. Carroll would convert all three and give FSC the one point victory over the Bucs.
NOTEWORTHY:
- The Bucs' bench outscored the FSC bench 22-6.
- Jake Kakar has scored in double-figures during all six games this season and currently ranks fourth among all players in the SSC in scoring (17.3).
- Milon Sheffield has hit three triples in three of the six games this season. He went 3-for-5 today.
