MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The Buccaneers' took on Florida Tech for the second consecutive night, this time in Melbourne and came away with another victory to start the season 2-0. Barry pulled away late on the Panthers to earn a 77-71 victory on the road.

SUMMARY:
- Barry got off to a fast start up double-figures around the halfway point of the first half, but went into the locker room with just a two point lead over FT. The close game was due in large part to the Bucs struggling from the free throw line going 6-for-14. Tech ended the half on a 9-2 run.
- The game was close for the majority of the second half with both teams trading baskets. FT took the lead with 8:15 left in the game until Nick Anderson hit back-to-back three pointers to give Barry a 62-60 lead with 4:48 on the clock. Florida Tech kept it close until Jake Kakar put the dagger in the hearts of Panther fans to extend the Buccaneer lead to five with :45 remaining in the game. Barry finished with six players in double-figures, led by Justinas Marcinkevicius' second straight double-double. The forward from Lithuania is 10-for-10 from the free throw line in his first two games.
NOTEWORTHY:
- The Bucs bench outscored FT's 23-7.
- In the two games against the Panthers, Barry has held FT to 20 percent shooting from three (9-for-45).
