MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers women's basketball team corralled the Dominican Chargers 69-63 on Cesar Odio Court on Sunday, surviving a furious fourth quarter comeback attempt to win the 100th game for head coach Kristina Baugh.

SUMMARY:
	- 1Q - Down 6-4 after two minutes, the Bucs used their defense to key a 16-6 run and go up 20-12 on a jumper by Trinity Bosecker with 2:22 left in the period. The Chargers responded with a 7-2 run of their own to close the period and cut the lead to three. | Bucs 22, Chargers 19
 
	- 2Q - In the second period, the Chargers scored the first four points on a three-pointer by Alexis Suarez and a free throw by Casey Carangelo to take a 23-22 lead. But defense, again keyed a 14-3 run, led by guard Ashia Pool and Harriet Swindells. A layup by Ashleigh Pink at 3:06 gave Barry a 10-point lead, 36-26. | Bucs 39, Chargers 29
 
	- 3Q - Barry came out of the locker room and quickly extended the lead. A pair of three-pointers bby Swindells pushed the lead to 16 and the Bucs lengthened to to as many as 19 in the period. | Bucs 60, Chargers 43
 
	- 4Q - The Bucs connceted first in the fourth period on a jumper by Chiara Fusari, but the Chargers then wen on a 12-2 run over the next four minutes to cut the lead to singnle digits, 64-55 on a steal and basket from Suarez. Kha'la Latimer made it a one-possession game with 0:18 seconds to play with a free throw. But the Chargers had to committed five fouls before the Bucs went to the line and Barry was able to bleed off 0:10 seconds of the clock. Dasiah Thornton and Johanna Kampp hit 3-of-4 from the line in the last eight seconds to secure the win for the Bucs. | Bucs 69, Chargers 63
 
NOTEWORTHY:
	- The win was the 100th of her career for Barry head coach Kristina Baugh, with 13 of them coming over the last two seasons in The Shores.
 
	- Swindells scored a season-high 22 points to lead the Bucs. She shot 8-for-12 from the floor, including 4-of-7 from three-point range.
 
	- Bosecker chipped in 16 points, while Emma Hergot had her third straight doubel-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. Pool had 10 points off the bench.
 
	- Taylor Tomlinson led the charger with 16, while Suarez and Samantha McClutchy each had 13.
 
ON THE HORIZON:
The Bucs are off for the break, returning on Dec. 31 to host the Nova Southeastern Sharks.
