MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneer men's basketball team added another win to their undefeated start, capturing their seventh victory of the season with an 83-77 win over the Lynn Fighting Knights on Wednesday, Dec. 1 at the Health & Sports Center.

- 1H - Lynn's Christian Peevy opened up scoring with an and-one which was answered by back-to-back triples from Landon Kirkwood. Barry would go on to ride a 12-3 start to a six-point halftime lead. - 2H - The Fighting Knights put the pressure on the Bucs early in the second half, ripping off a 9-4 run that would shave the Barry lead down to a single point. The Bucs responded with a 12-0 run which included a strong bucket through a foul by James Montgomery. Lynn came right back with a haymaker run of their own, outscoring the Bucs 15-1 over the next three minutes and 40 seconds to take their first lead since the opening bucket. The two teams would go on to exchange buckets the rest of the game before Barry sank seven free throws in the final two minutes to take control of the game and put away their rivals. | Barry 83, Lynn 77
NOTEWORTHY:
- The Knights' Peevy led all scorers with 31 points while Jake Kakar led the Bucs with 18 including a 4-6 mark from three-point range and shot a perfect 6-6 from the charity stripe.
- Schaefer had a double-double for Barry with 16 points and 11 rebounds.
- Dean had a solid all-around game for the Bucs, recording five points, seven rebounds, four assists, and three steals.
