Men's Soccer Loses To Nova Southeastern

Bucs played down a man for over 50 minutes

MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers lost 3-1 to the Nova Southeastern Sharks in Sunshine State Conference men's soccer action at Buccaneer Field on Wednesday night.

  • 13:49 - Juan Caffaro ripped a ball into the Sharks' box and Nick Brisevac was called for a hand-ball. Caffaro stepped up and pounded home the penalty kick. | Barry 1, Nova Southeastern 0

NOTEWORTHY:

  • Nils Buecheler made nide saves as the Sharks teed off on the Bucs' goal.
  • Alberto Ciroi made two saves to earn the win.
  • After the first half ended 8-6 in shots for the Sharks, NSU out-shot Barry 16-5 in the second half.
  • It was the second loss to the Sharks this season, having fallen 2-1 on Sept. 14.

ON THE HORIZON:

Barry travels up to Winter Park, Fla. on Oct. 27 to face the Rollins Tars.
