SUMMARY:

  • B7 - After a defensive back-and-forth battle, Tyler Jo Colby knocked a fly-ball past the fence to keep the Tars undefeated record alive and spoil a shutout appearance from Sarah Johnson.
NOTEWORTHY:
  • Despite taking the loss, Sarah Johnson had a solid outing, only giving up four hits and two walks through six innings.
  • Worrell struck out 11 Buccaneer batters and would have had a perfect game were it not for two walks drawn by Cassandra Lee and Payton Germer.
  • Tonight was the only game of Coach Cotter's tenure as head coach that the Bucs have been held without a hit.

ON THE HORIZON:

The Bucs continue the SSC series with a double header against Rollins tomorrow on Saturday, Feb. 28.
