MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers blanked the Florida Tech Panthers 2-0 at Buccaneer Field on Saturday night for their first Sunshine State Conference women's soccer win of the season.

SUMMARY:
- 53:51 - After a scoreless first half, Ari Cerezuela got the Bucs on the board with an 18-yard chip shot over Panther keeper Maria Sanchez Recuero. Sarah Wignall crossed the ball in from the left wing to the top of the box and Cerezuela spun and lift a shot to the top left corner.
- 85:05 - Freshman Tash Hudson displayed some excellent speed and skill for the insurance goal. Taking a feed from Minda Forsblom, she raced down the left side, past the Panther defense, split a pair of defenders at the top of the box and waltzed in for a one-on-one chance against Recuero, beating her top-side again.
NOTEWORTHY:
- Maddie Hart-Pomerantz had a career-high seven saves to post her first shutout of the season.
- Recuero had six saves, but conceded the two goals.
- For Hudson, it was her first career goal.Â
- For Cerezuela, it was her first career game-winner.

The Bucs travel up to Nova Southeastern on Wednesday, Oct. 2 to face the Sharks in a non-conference game.
