ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. -- Top-seeded Barry defeated #9 Azusa Pacific 4-0 in the quarterfinals of the 2019 NCAA Division II National Tournament at Sanlando Park on Thursday.
The Bucs trailed early in doubles, but rebounded to win at No. 2 and No. 3 to take the point. Barry finished off the match by taking No. 3, 6, and 4 singles.

- Barry beat Columbus State 7-0 on Feb. 16, but the Cougars played the match without top player Beatriz Lopez and were forced to forfeit at No. 6 singles and No. 3 doubles.
- The win for the Bucs was their 78th in the NCAA Tournament, the second-most among active schools.
