MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The Buccaneers made it a three-match sweep of the Lynn Fighting Knights this season by defeating their SSC rival 4-0 in the NCAA South Region 1 Final at the Buccaneer Tennis Center on Sunday. Men's tennis captured their 15^th regional championship and the 50^th overall for the Buccaneer athletics program.

NOTEWORTHY

• The win for Carlos Gomez moves him into the Top-25 in program history in singles wins (45). 
• Along with Gomez, Daniel Ventura (9^th) and Vivien Versier (20^th) are also in the Top-25.
• Versier is ranked fourth in school history in doubles winning percentage (59-12/.831). 
• The Bucs are making their 21^st appearance at the national finals. They have three national titles and seven runner up finishes. Their 10 appearances in the national title match is an NCAA Division II men's tennis record. 

ON THE HORIZON

The Bucs now travel to Sanlando Park in Altamonte Springs, Fla., for the NCAA Division II National Tournament May 21-24. Pairings for the nationals will be released this week.
