WHAT ARE THEY SAYING:
"I wanted to give Savannah a day off today. She's been pressing a little bit, "Bucs head coach Sean Cotter said. "Berlin did a good job giving us a couple lefties atop the lineup. She played well last night, going 3-for-4 in game two and continued that today with two more hits," Cotter added.

"I feel that I have definitely made some improvements. I am seeing the ball better," Berlin Colvin said. "I'm trying to bring to games what I work on in practice every day," Colvin added.

SUMMARY:

  • B1 - Lynsey Duncan led things off for the Bucs with a double, continuing her offensive tear this season. Colvin drove in the Bucs' first run of the game with a base-hit back up the middle. Taylor Randazzo drove in two more with a single, giving the Bucs three runs in the inning. | Barry 3, QC 0
  • B2 - Duncan scorched her second double of the game and 13 this season down the right field line and advanced to third on an error by the right fielder. Colvin walked and Peyton Rawls was hit by pitch. Andrea Johnson came through with a big two run single up the middle. The Bucs scored two more later in the inning, benefiting from fielding blunders from the Knights . | Barry 7, QC 0
  • T3 - Bucs starting pitcher Gabby Vallee had her only stressful inning allowing two runs on two hits. Only one of those runs were earned by the Knights. | Barry 7, QC 2
  • B5 - Duncan and Colvin started the inning with back-to-back hits. Rawls and Johnson drew consecutive walks with Johnson earning her third RBI of the game. Diaz would record her second hit of the game that scored two more for the Bucs and ended the game on the run rule. | Barry 10, QC 2
