MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The Buccaneers lost a pair of home conference games against Nova Southeastern on Sunday afternoon at Buccaneer Field in Miami Shores. Barry lost game one 19-0 and came up short in game two 3-1 against the Sharks. NSU swept the Sunshine State Conference series against the Bucs 3-0.

There is a lot that we can learn from that first game despite losing 19-0," Bucs head coach Sean Cotter said. "We will learn from that, but good job by our players to come back and compete in game three of the series," Cotter added.
"Lynsey Duncan had a good day," Cotter said. Duncan went 5-for-10 against the Sharks this weekend with two extra base-hits and two stolen bases. "Zygy [Ayana Andrade-Zygmunt] broke through with a double and played some really good second base," Cotter said.

NOTEWORTHY:
- After allowing the two home runs in the second inning of game two, Gabby Vallee was lights out for the Bucs allowing no runs on three hits.
- With five more hits this weekend against the Sharks, Duncan nows sits atop the SSC in hits with 36 this season.
ON THE HORIZON:
Barry takes a break from conference play and continues their eight game home stand on Thursday against Queens College from New York. Bucs will play a three-game series with the Knights, with a double-header set for Thursday beginning at 5:00 PM.
