ORLANDO, Fla. -- After kicking off the weekend with an upset win over No. 1 ranked Columbus State, the Buccaneer men's tennis team recorded another solid victory on Sunday, Feb. 17 at UTSA Training Center, knocking off No. 8 Valdosta State by a 6-1 margin.
The history runs deep between the Bucs and the Blazers after their several matchups the past few seasons. Last year, saw Barry take down VSU 5-3 in Valdosta, Ga., after Barry traveled there in the fall to compete at the ITA Regional Championships.

- After beating two straight Top-8 opponents in No. 1 Columbus State and No. 8 Valdosta State, the Bucs make a strong case to sit at the top of the DII ITA National rankings in the next poll on Feb. 20.
