MIAMI SHORES, Fla.—Both the men's and women's basketball teams host the Florida Tech Panthers on Monday for a Sunshine State Conference doubleheader in the Health & Sports Center. The women's game starts at 5:30 pm and the men follow at 7:30 pm.

The Bucs (1-6, 0-3 SSC) dropped a pair of road games a week ago to Lynn (65-57) and Eckerd (70-64).
Junior guard Harriett Swindells leads the team at 15.9 points per game, shooting 31.9 percent from three-point range. Junior Nichel Tampa chips in 13.9 points, 4.4 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 2.4 steals per game. Junior Emma Hergot leads the team at 7.0 rebounds, while adding 7.6 points per game. Nerea Baena chips in 10.0 points and 6.3 rebounds per game, shooting 50.0 percent from the floor.

Senior forward Aniquah Swan leads the team with 13.2 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. Fellow senior forward Amanda Allen chips in 10.8 points and 5.3 rebounds. Sophomore guard November Morton also averages 10.8 points per game, while junior guard Fanny Hakanson averages a robust 7.8 assists per game.

The men (6-2, 2-1 SSC) are coming off a pair of huge road wins last week, knocking off previously unbeaten arch-rival Lynn (93-90) and Eckerd (90-77).
Senior forward Tylan Birts leads the Bucs with 16.3 points and 9.8 rebounds per game. Junior guard Jake Kakar chips in 15.3 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game. Leandro Allende also tops double firgures at 10.2 points per game. David Moya leads the team with 4.8 assists per game and a 2.9:1 assist:turnover ratio.
