MIAMI SHORES, Fla.— The top-seeded Barry women's soccer team hosts the Sunshine State Conference Tournament semifinal on Thursday, Nov. 14 at Buccaneer Field as the fourth-seed Embry-Riddle Eagles visit the friendly confines. The game will be streamed on the Sunshine State Conference Digital Network with live stats provided by StatBroadcast.

Barry (9-6-0 on the season, 8-2-0 in the SSC) claimed a share of the SSC regular season title after winning their last eight matches, including six shutouts. Barry knocked off Palm Beach Atlantic 1-0 in the regular season finale. The Bucs earned the top seed in the tournament, thanks to a 2-0 win at Rollins, giving them the tie-breaker over the Tars. Embry-Riddle (8-5-1, 6-3-1 SSC) has just two wins in their last five games, but defeated Tampa 2-0 in the SSC Quarterfinals on Monday. 

The Buccaneers lead the all-time series 3-2-1, but the Eagles took the regular-season match this season 3-1 in Daytona Beach. Barry out-shot the Eagles 16-14, including 11-5 on goal, but ERAU keeper Dana Ruchti had 10 saves. Tash Hudson scored the lone goal for the Bucs. 

Sarah Wignall leads the Bucs with 10 points and six assists. The senior from Isle of Man has the game-winners in the final two regular season games. Sofia de la Puente, Hudson, Ari Cerezuela and Lauren Hall are all tied with three goals. Minda Forsblom has two goals and four assists. Maddie Hart-Pomerantz has dominated in goal over the last half of the season. In the final eight games, all wins, she has a 0.50 goals against average and a 90.7 save percentage. 

Marie Myhrvold Seim and Rita Okoro are tied for the Eagles' team lead with six goals. Myhrvold Seim adds five assists. Isabelle Navren has six assists to lead the team. Ruchti has a 0.99 goals against average and 78.6 save percentage.
