BOCA RATON, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers toppled arch-rival Lynn on #BeatBARRY night in the de Hoernle Center 90-89 in overtime on Wednesday night.
INSIDE THE MATCHUP
Final: Barry 90, Lynn 89
Records: Lynn (11-5, 5-5 SSC), Barry (7-10, 5-5 SSC)
All-Time Series: Barry leads 33-20
WHAT THEY'RE SAYING:
"We knew this was going to be tough. They all are, on the road in this conference. But they were 9-0 in this gym. We might have made it a little tougher than we needed to, hitting less than 50 percent from the free throw line. But I'm proud of this team, playing a very good team on the road and coming away with the W. The defense forced 31 turnovers, which I think is a season-high, and we got 35 points off of them. I would say that was a huge key to the win." -- Barry head coach Bill Sullivan
