MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers fell 10-9 to the Miami-Dade Sharks in exhibition baseball at Feinbloom Field on Saturday.

- T2 - Nico Martinez led off getting hit by a pitch from Myles Gayman. Pinch runner Luis Guerrero later scored on a sacrifice fly by Raphy Almanzar. | MDC 1, Barry 0

- B3 - Freddie Matos led off with a single. Chris Cabrera ripped a double to center to drive him in. Cabrera later scored on an error. | Barry 3, MDC 1
- T4 - The Sharks took advantage two Buccaneer errors and launched two homers, including a grand slam by Bryan Sanjuro, to score seven runs in the fourth. Jarrett Bickell added a two-run shot. | MDC 8, Barry 3

- T7 - The Sharks capitalized on two more Buccaneer errors to score a pair of runs. Ian Claudio and Sanjuro had RBI singles. | MDC 10, Barry 4

- B9 - The Bucs got the tying runner to second base with one out, but stranded him there as Orlando Ribalta got Pino swinging to end the game.Â
NOTEWORTHY:
- Freshman Mike Reagan took the loss for the Buccaneers. In one-plus innings, he allowed four runs (three earned) on three hits and two walks.
- Blake Baker picked up the win for the Sharks, despite allowing two runs (one earned) on two hits and a walk. He struck out two.
- Ribalta set down six of the seven men he faced striking out two in two innings to get the save.
- Lamazares led the Bucs at the plate, going 2-for-2 with a a pair of doubles and a run scored. He also walked and was hit by a pitch to reach base all four times up. Pino, his replacement, was 1-for-2 with a two-run homer.
- Rapoza had a single and a homer and drove in three runs.
- Sanjuro was 2-for-5 with five RBI for the Sharks.

The Bucs will play their final exhibition on Tuesday, Jan. 22 at 3:30 pm against the Palm Beach State Panthers.
