MIAMI SHORES, Fla.—After starting the season with two sound home victories over St. Edward's and Saint Micheal's followed by a neutral site win over West Georgia, the Bucs will look to continue their hot start with two more neutral site games vs. Christian Brothers and Mississippi College.

The Buccaneers 3-0 start has already gained them recognition around the country. Barry has won those games by a margin of 8-0. This week, they were recognized as the 9^th-best team in all of Division II in the United Soccer Coaches National Poll. Senior Christy Grimshaw has led the way for the Bucs with nine points on the season, burying three shots in the back of the net herself and facilitating on another three Barry goals. 

Christian Brothers will take the field vs. the Bucs on Friday after starting the season 1-0-1. Their opening game was a 2-2 slugfest that ultimately ended in a tie after two overtime periods. They followed that game up with a 1-0 victory over Missouri S&T. Senior Midfielder Sinead Tierney, the Winsford, England native, was named GSC player of the week after scoring all three of the teams goals this season.

After playing Christian Brothers, the Bucs will face another tough out-of-conference opponent in the Mississippi College Choctaws. The Choctaws posted an excellent 15-4-1 record last season and qualified for the NCAA tournament, in which they advanced to the second round before falling to West Florida. The Choctaws entered the season ranked 18th in the country and won their opener vs. Saint Leo in overtime before suffering a 1-3 defeat at home vs.Tampa.
