MIAMI SHORES, FL. – The Barry Buccaneers (14-1, 6-1 SSC) swept another Sunshine State Conference foe on Friday night. The Bucs beat Rollins College (3-11, 1-6) 3-0 at the Health & Sports Center behind a season-high 19 kills from junior Kristina Flimonova. Barry took the sets 25-13, 25-12, 25-21.

WHAT THEY'RE SAYING:
"I feel great about the win," Bucs head coach Steve Hendricks said. "Every conference win that we can get is huge. This conference is tough even though Rollins is a bit down this year, they still fought till the very end. Hendricks can't say enough with the play of Filimonova. "She's phenomenal. I don't think she realizes how good she is."
SUMMARY:
- 1st set | W 25-13 | The Bucs busted out to a 18-7 lead forcing the Tars to call timeout. Barry dominated the set in attack percentage hitting .409 to Rollins' .040.
- 2nd set | W 25-12 | The second was dominated by Filimonova. She tallied eight kills on 10 attempts.
- 3rd set | W 25-21 | Freshman Bianca Pasca led the way in the third set with 14 assists and five digs. It was the only set in which Rollins hit over .100 during the match (.256).
NOTEWORTHY:.
- Through the first 15 matches, Barry has not allowed an opponent to hit over .200 this season.
- Samokhvalova added five more blocks to her total against the Tars. She is leading the SSC in blocks-per-set during conference play with 1.45.
- Pasca recorded her third double-double of the season (32 assists/10 digs)
