The Buccaneers are still undefeated after rallying back for a 2-1 overtime win over Rollins last Saturday. Christy Grimshaw knotted the game 1-1 in the 86th minute and won it with a goal in the 92nd. She was named the SSC Offensive Player of the Week. The Sailfish are 4-3-2 after losing 2-1 at Saint Leo, but rebounding to tie Tampa 0-0 on Saturday.

The Bucs enter the contest riding the hottest streak in the conference, having won all seven games this season. The Bucs are led by a stifling defense, that leads the SSC with a miniscule 0.29 goals against average. Seniors defenders Jade Adams and Alyssa Lugo and keeper Melanie Ziegner have led a squad that makes it hard for opponents to even get off shots. Despite a league-best goals against average, the Bucs are last in the league with only 16 saves. Offensively, Grimshaw and Molly Sharpe are first and second in the league in points per game. Grimshaw has 17 points on six goals and five assists, while Sharpe adds four goals and four assists.

The 'Fish are second in the conference with 26 goals, 23 of which came in shutout wins over Florida Memorial, Glenville State and Ave Maria. Freshman defender Jaycie Tate leads the team with five goals, while freshman forward Thorkatla Hallorsdottir tops the team with five assists. Keepers Jez Rubalcava and Madison Chiola have split time, compiling a 0.64 goals against average and a league-best six shutouts in their nine games.
