Women's Soccer Escapes Wolves

Grimshaw scores the game-winner in the second half

WINTER PARK, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers escaped with a 1-0 win over the West Georgia Wolves in a critical South Region women's soccer match up at Cahall-Sandspur Field on the campus of Rollins College on Sunday.

  • Maddie Hart-Pomerantz made one save in a complete-game shutout, the first for the Bucs this season.
  • Jackie Donaldson worked the full game for the Wolves, making five saves, but took the loss on Grimshaw's goal.
  • Barry led 13-3 in shots, including 6-1 on goal.
