AIKEN, SC. – The Bucs set three goals heading into this weekend at the USC-Aiken Season Opening Tournament. "We wanted to develop team unity, build our confidence and do well with our first contact or first touch on the ball," head coach Steve Hendricks said. After coming back home undefeated, it's safe to say the Bucs accomplished each of those goals and more this weekend. With the win, coach Hendricks earned his 100th career win as the head coach of the Barry University Women's Volleyball team.
"It's a great start to the season." Hendricks said. "With each match we played better. Kristina [Filimonova] had a great tournament. Bianca Paşca set the offense masterfully and Audren [Rose] performed at an elite level with her defense and passing." Hendricks added.
