NOTEWORTHY:
- Nick Bralczyk (1-0) worked five innings, allowing two runs on five hits and two walks while striking out seven to pick up his first career win as a Buccaneer.
- Shaffer, who lasted just 1.2 innings, took the loss for the Griffins. He gave up five hits and five walks, leading to seven runs.
- Alexis Monge-Rodriguez led the Bucs with three hits.
- Quintana was 1-for-2 with two walks. He scored three times and and drove in four.
- Barcelo was 2-for-5 and drove in a pair. Andrew Rapoza and Paul Salata each hs two hits as well.
- Four Griffins, Craig, Ameir Uzzell, Small and McBrearty each had two hits.
