Women's Basketball Stumbles In Lions' Den

Bucs fall to Saint Leo

ST. LEO, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers fell 68-61 to the Saint Leo Lions in the Marion Bowman Center on Saturday in Sunshine State Conference women's basketball action.

  • Kiara Palmer had a game-high 19 points and a career-high 17 rebounds to lead the Bucs. Schoonover added 11 points off the bench on perfect shooting and Granada had 10.
  • Hooks led Saint Leo with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Alani Gallagher added 13 and Gina Brierley had 10 points.
