VALDOSTA, Ga. -- Barry's men's tennis team wrapped up play at the 2017 ITA Fall Regional Sunday. Carlos Gomez made it to the semifinal round in singles before losing to the number one seed.

SUMMARY:
ITA Regional

• Barry's Carlos Gomez started off the day defeating Nicolas Guillermo from Rollins, 4-6, 7-5, 10-7, in the quarterfinal round.
• Gomez, however, lost in the semifinal round of singles, falling to the number one seed, Thomas Grinberg, of Saint Leo. Grinberg won the match, 6-0, 6-2.

NOTEWORTHY:

• The Bucs have finished competition at the fall ITA Regional, as well as at the FGCU Invite.

ON THE HORIZON:

The Buccaneers continue fall competition at the C.L. Varner Invitational in Winter Park, Fla., from October 6-8.
