MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – Barry took the win in game one of the final home series of the 2017 season, beating Lynn 8-6 Friday night.

SUMMARY:
- B1: Justin Lamazares crushed a two-run homer in the first to put the Bucs up 2-0.
- T2: Miguel Ceballos trimmed the Bucs lead to one run with a home run to left field. Jarren Pinkney followed with another homer to take the 3-2 lead for the Fighting Knights.
- T3: Ceballos doubled to right field to bring in Tyler Curtis to make it 4-2 Lynn.
- B3: Jonathan Quintana singled up the middle to score Ryan Baldwin in the third, making it 4-3 Lynn.
- B5: Baldwin homered in the fifth to tie up the game at 4-4. Claudio Rubiera doubled to right center, scoring Lamazares to take the 5-4 lead for the Bucs.
- T6: Patrick Dorrian tied the game up at 5-5 after doubling to right field to score Pinkney. Alex Turner scored on a wild pitch to take the 6-5 lead for the Knights.
- B6: Abreu homered in the sixth to regain the lead for the Bucs, making it 7-6.
- B7: Rubiera extended the lead for the Bucs to 8-6 when he scored on a throwing error by the catcher.
NOTEWORTHY:
- Armando Gonzalez (3-3) grabbed the win for the Bucs in game one of the series, after only giving up one hit.
- Jonathan Eisdorfer (3-2) was dealt the loss for Lynn, giving up four hits and three runs.
- Lance Elder (2) picked up his second save of the season, after striking out three batters and holding off the Fighting Knights.

Saturday marks senior day for the Bucs. Barry continues their conference series with Lynn with a doubleheader. Game one will start at 1 pm, with the second game to be played roughly 30 minutes after the end of the first.
