Barry blanks Florida Tech on road

MELBOURNE, Fla. – Barry University's second-ranked men's tennis team tweaked its lineup just a bit, but the Buccaneers still delivered a familiar result.

The Buccaneers shut out Florida Tech, 9-0, Sunday to complete a two-match Sunshine State Conference weekend road trip. Barry will play its final three regular season matches in South Florida, beginning Saturday at home.

Flavio Matteoli, Fernando Tous, Thomas Bugeaud and Daniel Ventural all picked up singles victories for the Bucs. Bugeaud and Tous were paired together for the first time in a month-and-a-half, delivering a comfortable doubles win.
