MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- Barry held off the Griffins Tuesday night to take the 10-7 win to end their five-game losing streak.

SUMMARY:
- B1: Bucs scored early when Justin Lamazares grounded into a double play, scoring Julian Abreu from third. A fielding error by the Griffin defense led to Khalil Denson scoring to make it 2-0 in the first inning.
- B3: The Bucs knocked in six more runs in the third inning to increase their lead to eight runs. Claudio Rubiera had a double with two RBI. The Chestnut Hill defense lost runs due to numerous errors in the infield.
- T5: CHC finally scored two runs in the fifth to trim the Buc's lead to six runs. Alec Craig had a single to score one RBI, and Vincent Case was able to score off of a throwing error by the Buccaneers.
- T6: CHC brought the game within two runs in the sixth. Craig came back to double to right field to score three RBI.
- T7: CHC tallied one more run in the seventh, as Craig was walked with bases loaded, scoring Case from third, making it 8-7 Bucs.
- B7: Rubiera had a day, homering in the seventh to extend the lead back to two runs.
- B8: Lamazares topped off the scoring for the night after he scored home on a wild pitch, making it 10-7.
NOTEWORTHY:
- Blaine Duncan (1-0) grabbed the win for the Bucs, giving up two runs and one hit.
- Dylan Borawski (0-1) took the loss for the Griffins, giving up eight runs and six hits.
- Daniel Broeseker (2) picked up the save in tonight's game for the Bucs.
