ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Barry baseball split with the Tritons during the double-header on Saturday. Barry took game one 12-8, while Eckerd came back to win game two 13-3.

SUMMARY:
Game 1
- T1: Justin Lamazares put the Bucs up by two in first with a home run to left field, scoring Ryan Baldwin
- T2: Alexis Monge-Rodriguez repeated what Lamazares did in the first with a two-run home run to extend the Buc's lead to four runs.
- B2: Tom Buonopane homered to left field in the second to put the Tritons on the board.
- B3: Garrett Hiot scored on a throwing error by Buc's defense to make it 4-2.
- T5: Julian Abreu homered to right center in the fifth to put the Bucs ahead by three.
- T6: Barry scored three more in the sixth to make it 8-2. Michael Escarra, Khalil Denson and Abreu all had singles to drive in a RBI each.
- B7: The Tritons cut the Buc's lead in half after scoring two runs in the seventh. Mitch Calandra singled to pick up a RBI, and later in the inning he scored on a throwing error in the infield.
- T8: Barry grabbed another four runs in the eighth. Abreu, Denson and Alffredi Ramos each had singles for a RBI each. Claudio Rubiera also hit a sacrifice fly to score Ryan Baldwin.
- B8: Eckerd tried coming back, scoring four runs in the eighth, but it wasn't enough as Barry came away with the 12-8 victory.
Game 2
- B1: Eckerd scored two in the first. Buonopane tripled down the right field line to score one RBI. Hiott also singled to score one RBI as well making it 2-0 Tritons.
- B3: Hiott came back in the third to hit a sacrifice fly to center field to score one RBI from third.
- B4: Eckerd got the bats going in the fourth, knocking in five runs to extend their lead to 8-0.
- T5: Andrew Rapoza crushed a homer to right field in the fifth to get the Bucs on the board.
- T6: Barry added two more runs in the sixth, making it 8-3 Tritons. Claudio Rubiera had a single to score Lamazares, who reached first earlier on a throwing error.
- B6: Eckerd took away any chance of a comeback after scoring five more runs in the sixth inning, which ended up staying the final score of 13-3 Tritons.
NOTEWORTHY:
- Luis Deville (2-2) took the win in game one, giving up two runs and striking out six.
- Alex Moore (0-3) took the loss in game one after giving up seven hits and five runs.
- Kevin Kane (3-3) won the second game for the Tritons, giving up seven hits and three runs.
- Nate Greve (0-3) was dealt the loss in game two after giving up 10 hits and eight runs.
