MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers rallied from behind in both games to knock off the Molloy Lions 6-2 and 2-1 on Wednesday at Buccaneer Field.

WHAT THEY'RE SAYING:
"It's really great to see them fighting back from adversity," head coach Danielle Penner said. "Everybody stepped up for us and played critical roles. It was a total team effort."
SUMMARY:
GAME ONE:
- B-4th - Barry got on the board first. Lynsey Duncan singled past the second baseman and Jasmine Harris followed with a double to dead center to plate the run.
- T-5th - The Bucs gave up a pair of unearned runs as the Lions grabbed a 2-1 lead.
- B-5th - Anieliese Palmeiro had a one-out double and scored ahead of a Cheyanne Head single. After a single by Alayna Gallagher, the pair executed a double steal. Duncan knocked in both runs with a double to left center.
- B-6th - Kristina Osorio scored on a error to make the final 6-2.
SUMMARY:
GAME TWO:
- T-3rd - The Lions struck first. With two outs, Milan Botte and Tiana DeOliveira drew walks. Botte scored on a single by Mikaela Tribby.
- B-5th - The Bucs staged their own two-out rally in the fifth. Head singled and stole second when the Lions vacated second base. Gallagher pulled a sht through the right side to knot the game at 1-1.
- B-7th - Gallagher came through again with the game-winner in the seventh. Palmeiro dropped down a perfect bunt for a base hit and stole second. She went to third on a single by Head and scored ahead of Gallagher's base knock up the middle.
NOTEWORTHY:
- Christie Falcon (2-8) picked up the win in game one. In the complete game effort, she allow two unearned runs on five hits and a walk.
- Palmeiro (3-2) worked four hitless innings in relief of Geneva Santos for the win in game two. She allowed two walks and struck out two.
- Chelsea Hawks (4-4) and Jenna Turato (5-1) took the losses for the Lions.
ON THE HORIZON:
The Bucs host the Florida Southern Moccasins on Friday and Saturday, Mar. 17-18 in a Sunshine State Conference series.
