BOCA RATON, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers dropped a Sunshine State Conference softball twinbill to the Lynn Knights on Saturday at the Lynn Softball Field, losing 4-3 in nine innings in game one and 8-2 in game two.

SUMMARY:
Game one:
- T-2nd - Barry struck first as Peyton Rawls drove in Madison VonHagel with a fly ball to left.
- B-2nd - Lynn bounced back with three runs in the bottom of the second. Karolina Flores hit a leadoff homer. Francais Olexa had a sacrifice fly to score Erin Sundook and Leanne Wright had an RBI double to drive in Sara Vazquez.
- Â T-5th - Barry chipped a run off the lead in the fifth. Hunter Mars had a bunt single and went to third on a single by Avery Cotterill. Cotterill and Mars then worked a double steal with Mars scoring.
- T-6th - The Bucs knotted it up with a run in the sixth. Cheyanne Head led off with a single and went to second on a single by Lynsey Duncan. The pair worked another double steal before Jasmine Harris drove in Head with a bunt single.
- B-9th - The Knights broke through for the game-winner in the ninth. Mackenzie Wyatt singled up the middle and Wright followed with one to left. After Kayla Sheffield was hit by a pitch, Flores drove a single to center field to score Wyatt.
Game two:
- T-2nd - Barry struck first again in game two. Harris led off the second inning with a double and scored on a single by Kristina Osorio.
- B-2nd - But Lynn answered with another big inning in their half of the second. Flores, Sundook and Wyatt had RBI as the Knights scored four.
- B-3rd - Victoria Rios hit a one-out solo homer in the third.
- T-4th - Harris launched a solo homer of her own in the fourth.
- B-5th - Flores and Sundook hit back-to-back RBI doubles as the Knights pushed across three runs.
NOTEWORTHY:
- Christie Falcon (0-2) went the distance in game one, taking the loss. She allowed four runs on 10 hits and four walks with five strikeouts. Olexa (3-1) earned the win for Lynn. with the complete game.
- Duncan (2-3) took the loss in game two. In 4.2 innings, she gave up 8 runs on 12 hits and two walks. Kateyln Key (2-1) earned the win.
- Harris went 4-for-7 with two doubles, a homer and two RBI.
