MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- Barry University men's basketball team bounced back from its first loss of the season with a dominating win over Grand Valley State to wrap up the Cesar Odio Thanksgiving Classic. The Buccaneers, who entered the tournament ranked No. 5/8 in the country, beat the Lakers, 94-69.
Barry had four players in double figures in a game the Bucs shot 46 percent from the floor.

SUMMARY:
- The Buccaneers led by as many as 33 in the second half.
- Barry scored 40 points in the paint -- adding another dimension to its high-potent offense. The Bucs' bench scored 44 of its 94 points.
- Elvar Fridriksson had 21 points and five assists. Johannes Dolven scored 14 points, and Marko Tomic had 11. Daniel Mortensen had 10 points and five assists. Theo Turner grabbed a career-high 10 boards.
NOTEWORTHY:
- Barry improved to 5-1 in the Odio Classic.
- Fridriksson and Dolven were named to the all-tournament team. It is the second straight year Fridriksson was named to the all-tournament team.
- Barry turned the ball over five times, marking the third time this season the Bucs have been under 10.
- The Bucs had 21 assists -- the third straight game they've had at least 20. Barry has had 20 or more assists in all but one game this season.
