The Bucs are 2-1 after knocking off previously undefeated Florida Memorial on Wednesday. The Bucs have now won two in a row.
Kiara Palmer leads the Bucs in scoring (15.7), rebounding (9.0), blocked shots (9) and shooting (66.7%) again this season. She posted her second straight double-double with 14 points and 14 rebounds against FMU. She also blocked five shots, giving her nine in the last two games. Barbara Cousiño adds 13.0 ponits, 4.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists. Ida Andersson chips in 11.3 points and 4.3 rebounds
Eckerd jumped out to a fast start, winning twice against Gulf South Conference competition at their South Region Crossover, but dropped their SSC opener to Tampa on Wednesday to fall to 2-1, 0-1 SSC.
The Tritons currently do not have any players averaging double figures, but sophomore center Zoe Richards leads the way with 9.7 points. Senior guard Kacie Juday averages 9.0 points and a team-best 7.7 rebounds.
