JACKSON, Tenn. -- The Barry Buccaneers evened their record with a 63-52 win over Delta State at the SSC/GSC Crossover at Fred Delay Gym, hosted by Union University on Saturday.

- 4Q - Palmer took over in the fourth quarter, as the Bucs pounded the ball inside on the Statesmen. Palmer was 3-for-4 from the floor and 3-for-4 from the line for nine points, as Barry out-scored the Statesmen 22-15 in the frame. NOTEWORTHY:
- Palmer recorded her first double-double of the season, with 21 points and 10 rebounds.
- Andersson added 15 points and six boards, while Cousiño had 12 points and five rebounds.
- Rush led DSU with a game-high 24 points.
- Barry won the battle on the boards 34-28 and shot .47.1 percent from the floor.
ON THE HORIZON:
The Bucs host the Florida Memorial Lions on Wednesday, Nov. 15 at 5:30 pm for their home opener. The game, which is part of a doubleheader with the men, who play St. Thomas, is a featured event for Founders' Week.
