ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneer's lost to the Eckerd Tritons, 3-1, Saturday night on Johnson Field in Sunshine State Conference men's soccer action.

SUMMARY:
First Half
- 42:43 - Eckerd's Robert Carter notched the first goal of the match, making it a 1-0 game. Westleigh Rush crossed the ball in from the right side to set up Carter who pulled off the diving header.
Second Half
- 49:36 - The Tritons took the 2-0 lead when Juan Tejada connected with Rush outside the box, and Rush snuck the ball under the crossbar.
- 58:09 - Barry's Ander Urkidi narrowed the Triton's lead to one goal, after scoring in the 59th minute. Toby Fura set up Urkidi with a one-timer, that found the inside of the right post and into the net, making it 2-1 Eckerd.
- 86:03 - Niklas Sommerer sealed the game for the Tritons after intercepting a pass back to the Barry keeper and slotting the shot into the back of the net, making it 3-1 Eckerd.
NOTEWORTHY:
- Barry outshot Eckerd 16-11.
- Marco Sordi took the lossfor the Bucs, allowing three goals and making three saves.
- Eckerd's Alex Gott made five saves and allowed just one goal to earn the win for the Tritons.
