WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Barry University's men's tennis team dominated the Sailfish Fall Invitational on Sunday, taking home five big wins on the day.
SUMMARY:
Sailfish Fall Invitational
- Carlos Gomez and Pierre Montrieul won by default in the semifinals of doubles, in flight one.
- Vivien Versier and Fernando Tous defeated Zarazua and Salmon from PBA, 8-6, to advance to the finals, which they won by default.
- Daniel Ventura and Flavio Matteoli defeated teammates Victor Ravier and Martin Gutierrez by default to take third in flight two of doubles.
- Montrieul defeated Azucey from EFSC, 3-6, 6-4, 10-8, to advance to the singles finals where he beat Lus Mils of EFSC, 6-4, 4-6, 10-8, in flight one.
- Versier took down fellow teammate Ventura in flight two of singles, 6-2, 6-4.
- Tous and Matteoli battled it out in flight three of singles, but it was Matteoli, who came out victorious, winning the first set, 6-1, then the second set by default.
- Ravier and Gutierrez also took to the same court in the final round of singles flight four, and it was Ravier who finished on top, 4-6, 6-1, 10-1.

Barry hosts the Buccaneer Men's Tennis Invitational Oct. 21-22 to finish up the fall season.
