WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- The Barry men's tennis team got to play just one match in each flight at the Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish Invitational before rains washed out the rest of the competition for the day. The Bucs went undefeated.

Sailfish Invitational
- #1 Singles Flight - Pierre Montriel advanced over Adriel Azucey from Eastern Florida State College by default. Carlos Gomez defeated the host's Pato Zarazua 6-0, 6-3.
- #2 Singles Flight - Vivien Versier defeated Alwyn Mushonga for EFSC 6-2, 6-1 and Daniel Ventura knocked off Webber International's Tare Mariga 6-2, 6-2.
- #3 Singles Flight - Fernando Tous beat WIU's Ivan Bonderanko 6-3, 6-0 and Flavio Matteoli cruised over Lynn's Max Meade 6-3, 6-4.
- #4 Singles Flight - Victor Ravier crushed WIU's Matthew Alexander 6-0, 6-1. Martin Gutierrez was tied 5-5 with Lynn's Cameron Schoolcraft when the rains came. That match will continue tomorrow.
- #1 Doubles Flight - Gomez and Montriel survived in a tiebreaker 9-8 (2) over WIU's Mariga and Bonderanko. Versier and Tous blanked Mushonga and Andreas Wejs from EFSC 8-0.
- #2 Doubles Flight - Matteoli and Ventura made short work of Marc Scheider and Lucas Bingenheimer 8-2. Ravier and Gutierrez similarly handled Lynn's Schoolcraft and William Lundstrom 8-1.
NOTEWORTHY:
