DAVIE, Fla. -- The Barry University Buccaneers fell 63-55 to the Nova Southeastern Sharks in Sunshine State Conference women's basketball action from Rick Case Arena on Saturday, despite a career-high 20 points from Melanie Jordan.

NOTEWORTHY:
- Jordan scored a career-high 20 points. She was perfect on the afternoon, hitting 6-of-6 from the floor, 4-of-4 from three-point range and 4-of-4 from the line. After missing a large chunk of the season to various injuries, she came into the game having scored just 27 points in eight games.Â
- Barry turned the ball over just 11 times
- The Bucs out-scored the Sharks in three of the four quarters
ON THE HORIZON:
The Bucs open a two-game home stand in Wednesday, Jan. 25 as they host the Florida Tech Panthers. It is First Responders Night at the Health & Sports Center.
