MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- For the first time in 14 years, Barry University volleyball will host a tournament on-campus this weekend.

The Buccaneers (3-1) entertain Valdosta State (1-2), Southern Connecticut State (2-3), Lees-McRae (1-2) and Lynn (3-1) in the Barry University Classic beginning 11 a.m. Friday in the Health & Sports Center. The Bucs meet Valdosta State at 7 p.m. Friday. Barry plays Southern Connecticut State and Lees-McRae on Saturday.

Live Stats and Live Video will be available on the Buccaneer Broadcasting Network. 

Barry won three of four matches at the Route 92 Showdown in California last weekend. The Bucs recorded two sweeps on the trip to the Bay Area. The Bucs hit .152 in the four matches. Opponents hit .119 against Barry.

The Bucs will play Valdosta State for the second straight year in a tournament in South Florida. Last year, Barry lost in four sets to the Blazers at Lynn's tournament.
