MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- Barry University's volleyball team will play at Lynn 7 p.m. Tuesday in a Sunshine State Conference match. The match will be carried on the Fighting Knights Network. 

The Buccaneers (7-2, 1-0 SSC) will meet the Fighting Knights (6-3, 0-1) for the first of two matches this season. The Bucs are 10-4 in Boca Raton in the all-time series.

Barry is coming off a five-set win over Nova Southeastern in the SSC opener Saturday. The Fighting Knights dropped a five-setter to the Sharks in their home opener on Friday.

The Bucs attack has gotten stronger the past two matches. Barry hit .300 in a loss to No. 17 Palm Beach Atlantic on Friday before banging out a season-best .380 Saturday. Lynn hit .222 and .116 last weekend. Barry had a season-high 70 kills Saturday.

The Fighting Knights have two hitters with over 100 kills this season in Cleuza Porto and Lydia West.
