MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- Barry University's volleyball team will play No. 22 Tampa on the road 6 p.m. Wednesday. This is a makeup match from the hurricane storm earlier in the season.
The Buccaneers (14-10, 6-5 Sunshine State Conference) will see the Spartans (19-6, 9-3) twice this week. Tampa visits the Health & Sports Center 7 p.m. Friday in Barry's final homestand of the season.
Barry is seeking its first win over the Spartans in the last 15 matches. Tampa trails Saint Leo by a match for the SSC lead with two weeks remaining in the regular season.
The Bucs had a three-match win streak snapped in a five-set loss to Florida Southern Saturday. The Spartans have won five in a row. Barry is hitting .205 as a team. Tampa leads the SSC with a .251 attack percentage.
