MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- In a rematch of Wedneday's five-set thriller, Barry's volleyball team will host No. 22 Tampa 7 p.m. Friday night in the final homestand of the season. The Buccaneers host Saint Leo at 4 p.m. Saturday on Senior Day.

Barry was within two points of knocking off the Spartans for the first time in 15 straight matches Wednesday on the road. The Bucs will get another shot Friday. Saint Leo leads the Sunshine State Conference standings with two weekends remaining.

The Buccaneers (14-11, 6-6 SSC) sit 10th in the South Region poll. Tampa (20-6, 10-3) is third and Saint Leo (18-8, 10-2) is second in the South. A win this weekend would help the Bucs cause. The top eight teams in the region qualify for the NCAA Division II Tournament.

Barry is 33.5 blocks away from tying for ninth on the school's single-season list. The Bucs have 206 blocks this season, including a season-high 13 Wednesday at Tampa. The Bucs have had 10 or more blocks in eight matches this season.

Barry will honor seniors Amanda Brill, Eva Raat, Kaitlin Drake, Ariel Mangum, Jenny Trinidad and Ivana Didanovic Saturday.
