Box Score MIAMI SHORES, Fla.--The Barry Buccaneers chopped the Florida Southern Lady Mocs 60-48 in Sunshine State Conference women's basketball action in the Health & Sports Center Wednesday night.
The Buccaneers (11-10, 3-7 SSC) held the Mocs to just 25 percent shooting in the first half as they built a 15-point halftime lead. Kaylia Richardson scored 11 of her game-high 16 points in the period.
The Bucs pushed the margin to as many as 20 points in the second half, going up 48-28 at the 10:59 mark on Lynae Richardson's three-pointer. The Moc never got closer than the final margin.
Jackie Perez backed up Kaylia Richardson with 14 points, while Nyjah Porcher had eight points and 11 rebounds. Christine Strawbridge led the Mocs with 10 points.
The Bucs will play at Palm Beach Atlantic on Saturday, Feb. 7 in the Greene Complex.
