DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Barry University's men's tennis team beat a formidable Embry-Riddle team on the road Saturday to set up a showdown Sunday against rival Armstrong Atlantic at a neutral site.
The NCAA No. 3-ranked Buccaneers (3-0) handed future Sunshine State Conference opponent Embry-Riddle, the No. 2-ranked NAIA team, a 6-3 loss. It was the Eagles first loss of the season.

Dominik Haider knocked off No. 24 Miguel Lopez Gomez and Luke de Caires, 8-3, to send the Buccaneers into singles with a 2-1 lead.
Zmak, the No. 1-ranked player in NAIA, defeated No. 3 Groetsch, 6-2, 6-4, at No. 1 singles. Triki, ranked No. 4, outlasted 15th-ranked Sancez-Canama, 6-3, 3-6, 10-6, at the No. 2 flight. Barry's 26th-ranked
Nico Dreer was a 6-4, 6-4 winner over Becke at No. 3. Sielmann, who holds the No. 48 ranking cruised to a 6-2, 6-1 win over Zierleyn at No. 4. Haider beat Lopez Gomez, 6-1, 6-1, at No. 5. Rodolfo Arreygue was a 4-6, 6-3, 10-1 winner over Lombardi at No. 6.
Barry's match against No. 5 Armstrong coincides with the women's match Sunday at 10:30 a.m. in Winter Park, Fla.
