BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Barry University softball team (29-8, 3-3 SSC) completed a three-game sweep of the Lynn University Fighting Knights 6-1 on Sunday afternoon in Sunshine State Conference action.  
   
  The Bucs got things started in the top of the third as a throwing error from Lynn's catcher Nikki Pallister allowed 
Cristina DeTagle's bunt to transform into the Bucs' first run. 
Ashley Loose reached on a fielding error and then advancing to second on a wild pitch as 
Amanda Goelz walked to first base after being hit by the pitch. 
Holli Davis rapped a double out to left field to bring Goelz and Davis home, giving the Bucs a 3-0 lead.  
    
  In the top of the fourth, sophomore 
Brittany Anderson picked up another run for the Bucs after stealing second and scoring off an error by Lynn's third baseman Heather Tucker. The Bucs scored two additional runs in the fifth inning with a little help from 
Maile Keeney's double to center field and 
Ali Perantoni's advance on the throw to bring in Davis once again, giving the Bucs a 6-0 lead.  
    
  The Knights earned their first and only run in the bottom of the fifth after Kathleen Smith tripled to center field and came home on Tucker's hit to left field to put Lynn on the scoreboard, 6-1.
   
  Amber Jack (17-5) picked up the win for the Bucs striking out three and allowing just three hits and no walks in the complete game, while Cristin Kelly (8-9) took the loss for the Knights, allowing four runs on four hits and two walks in four innings.  
    
  The Bucs will travel to Ft. Meyers, Fla., on Tuesday, Mar. 27 to face Florida Gulf Coast at 5:00 pm for a double header.
