Box Score SAVANNAH, Ga. – The # 7-ranked Barry University men's tennis team dropped a 6-3 decision to the # 4 ranked North Florida Ospreys earlier this afternoon at the AASU Tennis Complex.
The Bucs (16-2, 4-1 SSC) fell behind early on dropping two of the three double matches with their only point coming in the # 1 spot where
Thomas Hipp and Gerold Wiring teamed up to knock of North Florida's (18-1, 8-0 PBC) Elliott Wood and Leonardo Gomes 8-6.
The Bucs then managed just two more points in singles action. Barry's Victor Rodriguez earned one of the points in the # 4 position beating Anders Berger 7-6, 6-4 and Alex Praderas picked up the Bucs third and final point of the day at # 6 with a 6-2, 1-6, 10-6 super-tie-break win over Sheldon Simpson.
The Bucs return to action tomorrow morning when they face off against Lander at 10:00 am at the AASU Tennis Complex.
