Box Score SAVANNAH, Ga. – The No. 7-ranked Barry University men's tennis team sent their host and No. 16-ranked Armstrong Atlantic State Pirates to their third straight loss with a 6-3 decision at the AASU Tennis Complex on Friday afternoon.
The Bucs got off on the right foot taking the # 1 and # 3 doubles. At the top flight
Thomas Hipp and Gerold Wiring knocked off AASU's Achim Roth and Tim Offermann 8-6, while Sebastian Losavio and Filip Norrman took care of Roger Thiele and Peter Dedik 8-5 at #3.
In singles play, the Bucs won four of the six matches to clinch the win. Hipp fell in the #1 slot, however, the Bucs rallied to take the #2 thru #5 slots with Losavio, Wiring, Rodriguez and Benninghaus all picking up wins.
The Bucs return to action on Saturday when they face off against North Florida at 11:00 am.
