Box Score MIAMI SHORES, Fla.—The Barry Buccaneers (4-0, 1-0 SSC) whipped the Eckerd College Tritons (3-2, 0-1 SSC) 8-1 in Sunshine State Conference men's tennis action on Saturday.

Gerold Wiring and Filip Norrman remained undefeated at the top doubles flight, beating Sebastian Niedermayer and Renaldo Valor 8-5. Thomas Hipp and Dirk Bennighaus made it 2-0 Barry by beating Rafael Neves and Nikola Vujovic 8-2. Sebastian Losavio and Alex Praderas completed the doubles sweep by defeating Julian Loreto and Andre Mittag 8-4.

The Bucs took five of six singles matches. Hipp beat Niedermayer 5-7, 6-3, 6-1 at the top flight, while Losavio clinched the match with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Loreto at number two.

Wiring defeated Valor 6-1, 6-2 at the third slot and Norrman topped Fabio Fermi 6-2, 6-0 at the sixth flight.

Barry takes on Capital on Tuesday, February 24 at 3:00 pm.
